My ANA has gone from 1:160 to 1:1280 since Aug. and the Rheum said..no treatment.  I can't take Plaq. so there's nothing else he said.  I guess I'm just supposed to get sicker and sicker.   Any suggestions?

My ANA was greater than 1:1280 both times they tested it, but I was told it wasn't really suggestive of disease severity or activity... why won't your rheumy treat you though!? Can you find a new rheumatologist? Even if you can't take Plaquenil, it seems like there's something they could do, like methotrexate?

Hi Mickey,
I agree with MS, could you find a new rheumy? And since you cant take plaquenil, maybe you could find a natural doctor that could help you with some alternative therapies too.
