Chilblains, pernio or urticaria? (Cold hands and feet hives)

Hullo,

I'm wondering about this occurance... I'm starting to get hard painful (kinda itchy in a painful way) in response to the cold.
Even indoors.... any tips and tricks or nutrients ideas?

Pernio is caused by exposure to cold for a
long period of time without freezing or by
very wet conditions.
Raynaud's syndrome is an abnormal
narrowing of the blood vessels with cooling
of the fingers or toes.
Cryoglobulins are proteins, which are normally dissolved in the blood, that
become solids or gels when cold.
The formation of hives in response to cold exposure of the skin is called cold
urticaria.

Many years ago, in my mid 20's I was diagnosed with Chillblains. Every winter, I get painful, sort of itchy sores on my toes. I have to try to keep my feet very warm and dry, but even so I have sores right now.

It took a LONG time for the derm to figure it out. They tried meds to increase my Red Blood cells but it gave me high blood pressure and fainting. Now I just deal with it - like so many other things!

I had hypothermic uticaria as a child( up until my late teens). Living on a farm in Ontario Canada made it tough to be outside in winter! My legs ,arms, neck  and sometimes even face would become covered in itchy painful hives when I was exposed to cold wind  or after coming out of water after swimming. Once my eyes almost swelled shut!
This ended just about the time I developed Raynuads ( around age 20?) and it often felt that the one condition morphed into the other.
I was never able to identify if there was a nutritional aspect to it.
I don't often hear of others who have experienced this! I often tell people I have always been " allergic" to the cold.

I thought all this time it was Raynauds over the past 5 years... I had swelling ears and fingers since high school!

The doc wants me to come in for some labs since they are bad on my feet and I un-smart-edly scratched 2 on my hand because I did not know what they were. OUCH and sores did not heal right.  Vascular and nerves? 

Maybe I should also join a local Scleroderma, Raynauds group for some help?
