Does anyone have the problem of them gums looking "doughy".   Or, not slick looking like they should.   Mine get that way and currently they are painful and puffy.   Is there a good product for this?

I've had a major oral thrush problem for the past two weeks.  It started with my gums looking puffy and feeling sore then they began to bleed.  It was the week-end so I couldn't go to the doc.  Looked on line and saw what rinsing with white vinegar would help.  It actually did help with the swelling and pain.  Just finished a triple course of Diflucan and am suffering the nasty side effects it gives me each time I take it. Major nausea and weakness but at least my gums are better.  If you decide to try the vinegar, remember that it will burn.  Mix it with equal amounts of warm water and swish several times.  Then rinse your mouth with warm water.  I did it all day - each time my gums began to hurt again.

Hope you get relief soon.

Blessings,
Jorja

My gums always look white.  I avoid smiling in pictures because of it.
I think it's just one of the things that happen when you don't have saliva.

CoQ10, an over-the-counter supplement, helps with puffy or bleeding gums.  200-300 mg/day.
Recommended by my naturopath.

Age 61; Blood type 0-; Sjogren's Dx 2005, sero-negative; plaquenil, 200-400mg/day; lunesta; vivelle dot; omega3, 4gm/day; CoQ10;  vit D3. Wheat free; dairy free. Homeopathy and acupuncture help enormously.

Thanks....both are great suggestions.    Also,  my gums aren't white as much as red from  inflamation.
