Extremely nauseous and dizzy, swollen feeling in abdomen and legs. Little fever too. Sat around for a while, all blood tests normal. Kidneys and liver normal. Chest xray normal. Suggested I follow up with PCP or rheumy.

Got a call from the rheumy I saw in October. Would like to see me again. But I can't get in until Jan 27. Oh well.

Guess I need to see if I can make an appointment with someone else sooner. But I'm totally exhausted.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry. I hope you start feeling better soon, and good luck finding a rheumy who can see you soon. Those waits are always so frustrating!

I'm so sorry Arina!!  Did you ask them to put you on the cancellation list, in case someone cancels?

Hugs Arina!

I'm so sorry to hear you had to go to ER!
Nara has a great idea get on that cancellation list.

I hope you get a good kind doctor who listens!!!

Thanks everyone. Am on cancellation list for both, but with the holidays and my vacation I won't even be around until the end of January anyway.

There is a clinic about an hour away, and I'm going to see if I can get any treatment there. Might have to ask my dad to call, since I do not have the energy.

So frustrating, since I don't feel any better. Tired, but not sleeping well. And my lungs hurt.

I have and am taking med for a sinus infection. I also had/have the tightness in my chest area. My dr gave my doxycycline and surprise It helps the tightness in chest & sinuses too. Guess I had some inflamation there.

Oh yeah --- get on the cancellation list. You never know.  And CALL them to see if there has been a cancellation - dont' wait for them to call you. Sometimes the person answering the phone is a nurse and the dr just might be having a  day where he can work you in. You don't know if you don't ask!!

Will call the new PCP on monday...see if I can get in to see the PA sooner than my appointment with the MD. Also call the rheumy, see if she can refer me to another rheumy if rheumy 2 can see me before Jan 1.

If I felt better and wasn't having trouble breathing, plus the fatigue and minor confusion from the fevers, calling would be much easier. From where I am right now, seems like an impossible task (like trying to call Everest w/o oxygen). Maybe will see if my dad can make the calls for me.

Almost all my doctors' PAs are wonderful. The sleep medicine PA is a pill, but most are great, have helpful information, and consult the doctor/a doctor if there's need. If your dad can call, do that. If not, spend some time in a steamy bathroom, and then try calling.

Joe S. will tell you to bring an advocate!  :)  He is so smart!

Also, you might print off some information from either this forum or the Sjogren's site. I personally love this page: http://www.sjogrens.org/home/about-sjogrens-syndrome/symptoms
I even used it once to give a speech to my Toastmaster's club.

Good luck tomorrow!

Thanks for the link! Will probably end up going by myself tomorrow, since everyone is busy.

Will go armed with as much information as possible, and a list of symptoms. Write down concerns, etc.
