Any signs of a cold or flu?  Congestion in the ears and chest?

Pain in the chest could be from pleurisy. The ear may be a separate issue, like an ear infection. I get chest pains every single day but CT scans and X-Rays are always normal. My rheumy and an urgent care doctor I saw due to wheezing cough both think it's pleurisy. Of course, it's probably always a good idea to give your doctor a call if you're experiencing sudden chest pain.

It may be an ear infection. Try doing lymphatic massage to improve drainage. A polar fleece mumps scarf may improve your bodies ability to fight the infection by keeping your ear warm.

I can relate to the chest pain.  I suffer from esophageal spasms and they are torture.  Fortunately, my Gastro doc has me on Trazodone that has lessened the spasms from 30-40 a week to 3 or 4.  Chest pain of any kind should be checked out by a doctor.  Hoping you feel better soon.

I will get some leg nerve pain when I have gas---at times. There are so many ailments that we get that are hard to figure out. The big thing is when it could be related to heart and we don't want to cry "wolf".

You will have to make the call. Do you have any chin/jaw pain that is unusual?? This can be heart related--sometimes. Really hard to tell. Good luck. If it is really causing you concern I would think an urgent care would be somewhere you could start---if one is still open in your area. Irish
