Has anyone else notice their hair coming back curly after being on plaquinil?  I've had board straight hair for all of my 60 years and now have little curlie -Q's  along my hair line and on my arms. I can accept the hair line ok, but the  arms- not so much.  Just hope my very sparse eyebrows don't follow suit. :P

My hair has always been stick straight, and how it is wavy-curly. Not attractive. Looks like I'm coming unraveled.

But I feel better, so I'm staying on the stuff!   :D

Sjogrens, UCTD, and subacute cutaneous lupus. Flu-like symptoms, mouth & nasal ulcers, itchy rash, high cholesterol, headache, earache, tinnitis, dizziness. Hangover-like nausea, especially in the a.m.

I always wanted curly hair and  it's now getting a little wavy, especially the layered parts.  Some consolation I guess.

My hair has always been wavy and a bit curly.  Now that I'm on Plaquenil it seems to be getting straighter.   :o ???
Primary SJS, dRTA, Osteroporis, OAB, stage 3 kidney disease, hypothyroid and high blood pressure.  Medicine I take are plaquenil, bicarb, prolia, synthroid, toprol and amolipine, citracal and vitamin D.  I use Arex and Azasite and Prolia.  I also have Reynaud's and osteoarthris of the toes

My nickname growing up was Tumbleweed...thanks to my shirley temple curly hair that looked like a tumbleweed.  Now mine is definitely straighter.

My hair has changed too. It has been straight all my life but no longer is. It has an unmanageable wave. It's not even and I don't seem to be able to do a thing with it. So saying - I'm past caring!

Mine changed and i'm not on plaquenil.... It used to be completely straight... Now when I wash it I have spiral curls, at least until it dries then it's just frizzy and fuzzy..   :(  So I cut it short and now it's just wavy..  ::)
