All teeth removal & implant appliances planned. Anyone have this?

I had all my top teeth and most of the bottom removed in April.  They had decayed to the point there was no other option. I have dentures for the top now, that I love and plan to have the 4 remaining bottom teeth out early next year and a bottom plate.

My dentist worked very hard to salvage stubs of teeth in the bottom front, to provide something for the bottom denture to adhere to, so it would not slip around in my mouth. The bottom plate fits over the remaining teeth. Worth asking about?
