My daughter's 23rd birthday is today!       I saw my "baby" 2 weeks ago, since she's 225 miles away and it was so nice. 

She's pregnant with her first child, so any celebration will be early in the day so she can rest.  Her MIL took her and her husband out to dinner Sunday and she got together with friends over the weekend.

Funny; she called at 8:30 p.m. Sunday and told us of her happy weekend and she was going to bed tired and worn out!  (the girl who never goes to bed before midnight)

Hopefully, you have power where you are and the snow wasn't too bad for you.  Great birthday present, eh?

One things for sure . . it will be a birthday weekend to remember!

We do have power, but my parents do not, so it's a slumber party at my place! It's a strange way to start the next year of my life (my husband and I live in a one bedroom city apartment), but it's nice to spend time with them.
