Anyone having trouble with urinary tract infections. bladder infections?  For the past few days I have had some trouble.....more like having a hard time emptying followed by pressure in the bladder. I have had kidney stones in the past and it doesn't really have that kind of feeling............

Diane, under the thread, "Diarrhea, pain in guts, very tired, TMI apologies" I posted some info on dysautonomia or a dysfunction in the autonomic nervous system. Dysautonomia affects the autonomic nerves that control the bladder. The nerves of the bladder no longer respond normally to pressure as the bladder fills with urine. As a result, urine stays in the bladder, which leads to urinary tract infections.

I haven't had any lately however I used to get them all the time. I push really hard to make sure my bladder is empty tho. If I don't then I'm going every time I turn around.

I think the term for that is neurogenic bladder.

I use D-Mannose twice a day to ward off UTI's. Works great!
