Adipose tissue/lipoma?

I've asked about this a couple of years ago, but want to see if anyone else has anything similar. I have egg shaped swellings at the top of my inner thighs. They are very soft and not painful, although very unsightly. They are so big no that they rub together and graze if I don't wear trousers.

I am overweight, but not obese, and these lumps are out of proportion with the rest of my body. I wondered whether they could be related to the oestrogel (HRT) I use on my upper arms and thighs. My previous rheumy said it was adipose tissue. Any ideas anyone?

I would love to get rid of them. I am seeing my GP for some blood results next week, so it would be good to have some thoughts before I go.
