Evoxac and Sweating Side Effect

I have been told by my Rhuematologist that Evoxac can cause sweating.  I already have a problem with excessive sweating from my head and would like to know if Evoxac affects most people that way. 

How are you responding to Evoxac?

Beck, I take Evoxac and believe it causes me to sweat especially at night.  As you say mostly from the shoulders up.  But, I just spent more than a week without any of the meds because I was out of them.  Guess what?  I still sweated.  I wake up several times a night soaked shoulders to the top of my head.  I never used to sweat at all.

I start getting ready to go somewhere and I start the sweating, hair, face etc. I keep a hand towel nearby to dab myself.  Put on makeup and 5 minutes later it's running.    I take Plaquenil, methotrexate, Vicodin, xanax and Lyrica.  I keep our A/C at 69 and my husband is always changing it.  Our electric bills are the highest ever.  It's 50 degrees tonight in Michigan and I might have my AC running.  I live near the road and traffic noise is bad with windows open.

It really helps me with the dry mouth but I do sweat a ton when I take it. I don't normally sweat, just overheat, but on Evoxac I sweat under my breasts and in the joint of my upper legs near my vagina. It's really disgusting to me to be wearing wet underwear so I'm changing them often throughout the day.

If I don't have to take it too much then it's really worth it. I take it as needed.

Yes, I sweat profusely in the beginning.  Now, after 4 years, it is less often but I still sweat.  For me, the side effect of sweating was easier to deal with than the extreme dryness.

i'M WITH you guys on that.  But, for me, it's hard to know for sure if it is the Evoxac that is causing all the sweating.  It seems even if I stop it for a week, I still get a sweaty head and face and neck.  I could see it if I was extremely obese, but I'm not at least in that area. lol.  I can't imagine otherwise.
