Those of you in the "hot" areas of the US - please hydrate.  Drink plenty of water even if you don't feel thirsty. Heat stroke can sneak up on you sooo easily.   That goes for your "furry friends" too.

If you have an elderly neighbor, check on him or her. Us Soggies, like the elderly are more affected by the heat.

By all means have a healthy and safe Fourth of July weekend!

Yes, Happy 4th of July weekend and Canada Day!

I hope we can all enjoy something a bit special.  Let's please remember our servicemen and women on this occasion, too. They've made it possible for us to have a celebration of freedom.
