Hi from the UK
So glad I found this site!
I was diagnosed 18 months ago (Primary Sjogren)and I had no idea there was so many of us out there!
I felt so alone back then, but not so much now thanks to this site.
Most of you guys seem to know so much about this desease.....a lot more than the doctors treating me!
Take care

Joe S.

Hello and welcome primrose. I like your name. :)  You're not alone. There are millions of us around the world diagnosed and probably millions more undiagnosed. I'm glad you found your way here.

Hi Primrose  :)

Welcome to Sjogren's world. I'm in the UK too. If you ever want to chat in 'real time' there is a hosted sjogrensworld chat on every Wed evening at 7 p.m. UK time. There are often about four of us from the UK in there and everyone from anywhere else is always welcome.

I hope you find the site useful. I know I did!

Take care - Scottie  :)

Hi Primrose,

Let me also welcome you to the SJS World and family!

I often say that I learn so much more here than I do at the rheumy's (he's a quiet kind of doctor).  And let me say that the wonderful members here have taught me much, and for that, I'm so grateful.

Look around the board by using the search engine located at the upper left hand side of the page as there are oodles of topics that you just might find interesting (shucks, you'll often find me there reading).

Come often, and I hope to chat with you soon (the chat schedule is located in the upper center of this page).

I'm sorry to have to meet you this way, but I'm sure glad that you've found us!

Take care of yourself -

Patze

Hi all,
Thanks so much for the warm welcome!
Joe, reading your posts seem to have a calming effect on me! It must be the reiki that you do.I'm yet to find a good local Reiki practitioner. I so want to go alternative but scared....
Scottie, StephL and Patze thanks so much for the info, I will read previous topics and try the chats as this is the only source of information available to me and I'm so grateful for that.
Take care
