Just got home from Phila, Walkabout...

         We got home a few minute ago and had to let you know that it was quite interesting.  There were table with exhibits from dry eyes to lupus to stump the Doctor ( this was Dr. Vivino).  Since this was our first year, I don't have much to compare it with- but there were a lot of people there.  When it came close to the time to walk around the Zoo, Dr. Vivino and a few others talked for a few minutes. They believe that about $8000 was raised today!!  This was the 7th year and over $30,000 has been raised for research and education in the past 6 years. 
          Our son, daughter-in-law and 2 daughters went with us.  What a fun time we had looking at all the animals  Our 3 1/2 yr.
old granddaughter had lots of questions and was amazed at so many of the animals!!  The almost 1 yr. old just had fun playing with mommy, daddy, grandpop and grandmom.
      Getting out of Philadelphia and back to South Jersey was quite an adventure (we are NOT city drivers). Thank goodness for our GPS!!
