Are you home now, Scottie?   Even if you are, your feet are probably not back on the ground yet after time with that baby!  :)

Hi  :)

I'm not home yet but I accessed my DIL's laptop. Got one more whole day here and then fly home on Tuesday as long as our flight is still scheduled. We should be flying from the airport that got hit by the tornado and heading for Memphis which has bad weather forecast!

I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It's been great meeting my grandson who is a real cutie and lovely to see my son and his wife who seem to be excellent - if somewhat over anxious - parents! :)

The weather has been 'interesting' but I know, from a previous trip, that it has not been typical. We only had to spend one evening in the basement! Their cat told us when it was safe to come out!

I'll get back to posting towards the end of the week!

Take care - Scottie x x x:)

Scottie,

Happy Easter to you!

I'm so glad you've enjoyed your time with family here in the states.  Just unfortunate that we've had all the horrible weather with storms and tornados right now!  One evening in the basement was not too bad, I suppose. No, it's not typical...even for this time of year.  I heard today flights were going out of the St. Louis airport.

Have a safe and "uneventful" trip back home!  ;)

Hi Scottie,

I'm so glad that the grandbaby and parents are doing well, and that you & hubby are enjoying your trip!

And I'm going whew, that weather must have been ugly (happy to hear that they have a cat that is meteorologically minded; now I need to get one of those! ;)).

Take care my friend -

Scottie,

Enjoy your last full day in the U.S. and have a safe, uneventful trip back home tomorrow/Wed.

Glad to hear you have enjoyed your visit with family.

Also glad that your son and family wasn't affected by the tornado that was in the area over the weekend.  We've had a record breaking month with tornadoes.  Thankful that everyone is safe.

Hope you have some additional time off once you get home so you can adjust to the time difference again and recoup from your travels.
