April showers are bringing rain, rain and more rain to Central Illinois.   ::)  I think we've had our quota for the whole year already!!

It's also bringing us green, green long grass that needs to be mowed (but is waaaay too wet to mow).

The trees are all budding out their leaves and I've seen flowers at neighbors houses.

What I wouldn't give to see flowers and green grass. Our snow is nearly gone, but they are predicting more for the end of the week.  :(

But I do see some crocuses and tulips starting to poke through the soil... ;D

Here in the north of the UK we haven't had any April showers! |We've had temps up to 25 degrees last weekend - which is way hotter than some summers here. Also, we have had no significant rainfall for weeks, so everything is dry. In fact, there re fire warnings for the countryside this weekend. However, we still have frost warnings for overnight.

Mother nature is one quirky soul.
