So, I can actually see and touch someone else with this stuff! LOL Unfortunately, we work on opposite sides of the school building and never see one another! *WHINING*

One woman has kidney problems, and is tested every 6 months. The other says, "Oh, it doesn't bother me at all..just dry mouth and eyes. Nothing big." WHATEVER. LOL That is big to ME! She even had a knee replacement recently but doesn't relate it to SjS. Says she has "no idea" how her knee went bad. One of my knees hurts terribly at times and sounds like a gravel factory when I bend at the knee.

Anyway, I just thought this was weird since so many know so little about the disease. Also, I guess this means, I am the only whiner of the 3. HAHA! :D

I don't think it is something people talk much about at their workplace. The way some employers are now.................
I have not yet met anyone with Sjogrens but I've met others with various autoimmune diseases so we connect.

It affects us all differently and since we are all different people, we have different emotional reactions to it. Heck I used to think I just had allergy eye and my 4-8 sinus/throat infections a year was normal.  ::)

The knee issues sound like OA. My wife is having hers replaced this summer.
