Back from Vietnam

Hi folks:

We just got a few hours ago from almost a month in Vietnam and Cambodia. I'll let you know when the photos are up on Flickr. It was the trip of a lifetime.

It has been very cold here, and in spite of my sister checking on the house every day, and turning on the water to drip during the cold spell, we discovered a small leak in a pipe when we did the laundry from our trip. So I'll have to have the plumber over tomorrow.

Bucky, I read your post about cleaning up for the plumber and have to say the most I would do is brush my teeth and check that my pajamas aren't too scruffy looking. In our house it is WYSIWYG "Whizzywig" (what you see is what you get). Most likely I'll be dressed tomorrow though.

Love the WYSIWYG! I hope it's not copywrited, because I want it! Planning a nice little wall hanging for my front hall! It looks vaguely Celtic, so should fit right in beside my "Cead Mile Failte" in the right font LOL

Hi Genko - welcome home!!  We've missed you!

Can't wait to see your pictures.  You take such beautiful pictures, is photography a hobby of yours?  You should look into selling some of them.  My husband belongs to a camera club and they have competitions, etc. where they win ribbons and awards.  Hubby loves to take nature pictures and has won many ribbons.

Sorry you have to have the plumber come to the house.  I too love your "Whizzywig" saying.     Hopefully, I'm done with repair people coming for the time being - but, I'll keep your phrase in mind for future use.   

Now that your done traveling for now, time to start planning and planting your gardens.  Your weather is better than what we have here in Central Illinois, so you can plant sooner.  My specialty is weeds.     I will just enjoy MY flower gardens through YOUR pictures.
