Cystometry tomorrow!

Hi everyone!

Tomorrow I'm getting my Cystometry done.
They'll be inserting a catheter -down below- and fill the bladder with some kind of gas.
It's to measure the bladder functioning and how the muscle works and such.

I'm not too nervous but I don't think it's going to be a pleasant experience.
I'm having a lot more bladderpain today-lower tummy pain.

But I'll be ok.

Tomorrow I can hopefully contact my doctors regarding the loss of sensations in my hands-feet-mouth and tongue.
And aswell the constant dizziness, lightheadedness and blurry vision.

I got my Neurologist appointment this thursday, but possibly I'll go in sooner or get to the ER if it gets to worse.(My Neuro will be there gladly.)

But I hope tomorrow will go ok.
It's going to be a long drive and it's not quite fun while feeling dizzy.

I have read many of your posts & know you are a brave young woman!
I have had the cystometry testing & it was not too bad----your word of "unpleasant" is about right. Be sure to let them know if you are uncomfortable as they can make adjustments.
