I worked with a 1-1 like that....started with him in 3rd grade and he could pull ya in like that, easy!! In the first week of working with him I caught on to his shinanigans....I'd say stop banging the wall....he'd start tapping it...stop making that noise....he would make a different noise....finally I learned quiet hands (folded hands), quiet feet (criss cross ankles) and you are going to lose recess...that one explains itself! LOL

If he's doing that at 13 mo...can you imagine 13 years!

He sounds adorable! I miss that age!

Your son is very clever! What a cute story...they learn so quickly, don't they?  I know he gives you so much joy.

I love the child-bartering posts. When our daughter was 14, I would have gladly paid someone to take her! I didn't think she'd live to see 15 because we were going to strangle her first.  She's turned out fine at 22.  LOL
I have a 34-yr-old son, Kris, and he was quite a smart little guy at a young age. One of my favorite stories of him is when his brother was born. Kris had just turned 4, and he thought it was great that there would be 4 people in our family now. He'd count this out to total strangers: Mommy, Daddy, me and little brother makes 4!

He was very excited about the baby brother, UNTIL we brought him home and placed him in his room for a few nights. Little brother cried and was waking him up. One day he came up to me and sweetly asked, "Mommy, can we take little brother back to the "hosipal" and get a girl named Anne?" 
WHY he thought a girl would be better, I have no idea, and we didn't know any Annes. We had to explain that brother was here to stay and he was my important helper, and we'd try to keep brother from crying at night so much.
