Had to see the opthamologist Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.  Started having about 20 black floaters in the eye I just had surgery on.  Said I had a film behind my new lens and may have to have that lasered out.  Will see him again this afternoon.  What can they do for floaters?????

I was just told that I had cataracts, I don't even know how bad they are...she told me right after she told me my eyes were severely dry so I really wasn't listening to her about the cataracts. So I guess the next time I go in I will find out about it.

I remember when I took my mom in to have it done, she was also awake for it, she was so happy that she could see again, and she also commented about the colors being so much more vivid.

I wish you luck, and all goes well! Let us know what happens, I guess we need to hear what were in for LOL....

Just had my second cataract surgery Monday.  I am so glad they put me out for it.  Dr. said my left eye is now 20/20 without glasses. I am seeing so much better.  I go back in two weeks to get evaluated for glasses as I can't see close up.  Dr. said he didn't know how I functioned my eyes were so bad.  Said they had gotten significantly worse since last 6 month checkup.  I don't know if it was the Plaquenil or not.  Something made them worse.  I would advise anyone to have this done.

So glad this was a positive experience for you, I hope it just gets better and better... I think there's a lot of us that have to or will have to get it done in the near future!!!
