Step #1 - install contraption that will raise my bed that I got for Christmas.  Tried it out a week ago and it works great.  My dad thinks its asking a lot of a little device to do all that lifting but for now it works.

Step #2 - get a bed desk.  It has legs and can be lifting for tilting.  Good for my magazines and when I want to play games on my iPad.

Step #3 - a telescoping light that extends over my bed so that I can see to do my activities.

Think this will really help on nights that I have to go to bed early due to leg pain.

Lighthouse - are those things for your bed those plastic bed risers?  I've always wondered if they worked.  I hope you like them.

Sounds like you have created a little haven in your bedroom - enjoy!

It is the Contour Matress Genie.  You can find it on Google.  It has two settings high and low and they are both loud.  Luckily this only happens when you are raising the bed.  They show you three different positions.  I might try out the lowest one for my reflux problem.
