Has anyone ever had this come up in labs? Everthing else was ok except that. High is 10.2 mine waa 10.4 the only reason I know this because I requested copies from my Rhuemy. When I asked about them before seeing the he said " labs are ok ". Kinda worried..

My hubby always runs a high calcium level. Or almost always. He is on blood pressure meds and this can cause the calcium level to get screwed up. Also, the high end of our calcium labs is 10.0 so the 10.2 is not that high.

There are plenty of other reasons to cause high calcum and I would suggest that you ask your doc why yours is a little high. Also, ask if he would check it again in 6 months or so and see what it is. These tests can go up and down and even loss of fluid volume can affect a lot of the blood work. Hot weather causes us to be dehydrated which can raise the calcium level and the level of other blood work. Irish ;D
