Hi everyone!

Tomorrow is finally the *BIG* day.
Really excited, although I get so tired of doctors sticking needles in me! :D
They are testing me for Neuropathy.
And also doing bloodwork for my liver levels and bloodplatelets, check for Lupus activity.

I really hope something will show up in the Emg and hopfully the bloodwork too(would explain how I feel.)
Rather know what the cause of these sensatons are than just having to live with it.

Hope everone is having a great day!
Hopefully I'll be able to sleep better tonight, didn't get a lot of sleep today.

inga

Neuropathy often does not show on an EMG.

I don't know if they do skin biopsy for nerve fiber density where you live, but that is the best test.

I hope you get answers.

anita

Ditto what Inga said.  Don't fret if the EMG is negative.  Small fiber neuropathy could be the cause of your unusual/painful sensations and needs a skin biopsy to diagnose.

Thank you Inga
Most likely my symptoms are pointing to Peripheral Neuropathy, which I think does normally show up in an Emg?
Well even if it won't I'll ask my Neuro about the biopsy.
I'm sure this isn't something I am imagining or something caused or stress/hyperventilation.

Thank you Anita.
Hopefully it will though, fingers and toes crossed!

Thank you Genko.
Will make sure to let you know how it went. :)

Thank you Flutterfly.
Your posts always make me smile, hope all the pixie love will help me tomorrow and bring answers.
Love ya!  :-*

Thank you Dolly.
It definitely isn't pleasant, will have to see what tomorrow will bring.

Thank you Lizzy. :)

Shani - wishing you well on your doctors visit tomorrow (at least it's tomorrow where I live, it's probably already TODAY where you are).   ;)

I've been meaning to tell you . . . you are quite a mature young lady for 16 yrs. old.  It's probably because of all the medical issues you have had to deal with through the years.  Much more than a 16 yr. old should have to deal with.

Your parents should be very proud of you.

Hugs,
Bucky

Thank you Bucky. :)
And aww that made me smile!
It's just kind of how my parents raised me, to be kind and respect other people.
And of course being chronically-ill at a young age requires you to be more responsible/grow up faster.
Aswell to take good care of yourself and your body.
So I guess that explains. ;D

Thank you Carebear.

Thank you LeoLady!

It's currently 7am here and I'm getting dressed, do hair etc for my appointment.
Looking forward to it.
Will let everyone know how it went when I get back.
Fingers and toes crossed for something to show up!
