Wow Scottie,

When you first started talking about the snow and the first few days of trying to get to work or them calling off work...it was ok...but it's still continuing? And more is on the way?  :o Ok.....enough already...it's only the beginning of December! (I'm sure that those are your thoughts exactly too).

I hope you all get a break in the weather soon so you can get your cars dug out, walks cleared, etc....snow can be very pretty but after a while it can also be very dangerous especially when people are not used to it!

We had our first substantial snow here in Illinois last night into today. I had to drive home late in it last night and if you just take it slow its ok...but the first snow is always the worst. Its not that people don't know how to drive in snow in Illinois...its just that I think they forget after the long spring/summer/fall! After a few good snows.....we all start to remember....lol...and we can get down to the business of driving defensively again!  ;)

Oh my gosh Scottie, even my husband was amazed at the amount of snow you all have got.  When you look at Great Britain from the air on the weather maps, all you can see is white.

I really feel for you doing all that walking.  I can just imagine how you feel.  My legs are aching with the temps here in the 20's.  Take care and PLEASE don't fall.  Be careful.

Hugs, Pooh

We are having another little snow storm today. Expecting 12-16 more inches. They said it was 4 inches this morning and my shovel said 6-8 but that is the way it is when it is light with wind.
