Still playing covers/sweater on and off . . .

Hi - back in Oct. 2009 I had a thread about "Covers on, covers off, sweater on, sweater off . . . repeat 100 times . . . " it was about how many times a day I put a sweater on and off and covers on and off throughout the night.  I go through the, I'm hot . . . I'm cold scenario all day long.

Here it is a year and almost five months later and I think I play this sweater/covers game EVEN more than I did before!!   

I have this fleece jacket I wear around the house when I'm home.  I must put that thing on and off AT LEAST a dozen or more times a day.

At night, when I get into bed I'm cold . . so, I pull the comforter and blanket up . . . then, I'm hot . . kick them off.  Repeat this at least a half-dozen times a night.  Grrrrrr

Then, when I go into work I'm so hot (they have the heat set waaaay too high in there - many times it's between 76-78) - so, I roll up my sleeves and my hands are sweating bullets!!  Ugh . . . no happy medium!  Last week as the boss man was walking by I showed him my hands (they were literally dripping with sweat). . . he just shook his head and said, "there's something wrong with you, that is just not normal!".  I said, "it's hot in here!".

I forget what "normal" feels like.  Sigh!

Bucky - who is taking my jacket off "again" - cause I'm hot. Don't ya just love our Sjogren's "gifts"?

And here I am, your exact opposite!  I can't get/stay warm except in my bed, it seems. My hands are blocks of ice, as are my feet if I don't wear thick socks.

Oftentimes, I have an "illegal" heater turned on in my office as I can't type with gloves on.
I was never such a wimp, but these past couple of years everything has changed.

Been like this for years....

I do this all the time..i know its my hormones/menopause though...

Hey I wake up sweat covered and cold. I am not menopausing yet...what GYN says Some nights go to sleep hot and wake up covered cold and sweaty. Sometimes my sheets get so wet, I lay on my robe until the morning when my husband gets up so I can wash the sheets.

Bonus Mom, I am like you.  I do have Raynauds so that may be my biggest issue.  Thank God for my little hand warmers!  Can't wait for Spring to come!
