Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been going to an Accupuncturist once a week for the past 3 weeks and I have definately seen an improvement with my energy and muscle spasms/weakness in my leg.  I have also noticed a slight decrease in my neuropathy in my feet.  I have also been dabbling in some yoga/tai chi a couple of times a week and that has helped my balance tremendously!  I plan on continuing both of these and will keep you posted on how it's working for me.  But definately think you guys should try it out if it's an option for you  :)

Thanks for letting us know! It's good to hear that you found some things that are working for you and helping you to feel better!

It is hard to find someone who is good with acupuncture. I have read books like "The Web that has no Weaver" to understand the background information and books on acupuncture itself. I prefer the books on acupressure (no needles) as for most things this method works just as well. In both cases it is best to understand the reason for the affliction and what points to suppress or stimulate to promote better health. "Acupuncture Without Needles" is a good book to start with.

I just finished up 4 weeks of accupuncture for gastroparesis and did not notice a difference with symptoms.  I have been feeling well other than my gastroparesis problems.

Hi all:

I had Bells Palsy- paralysis of my left side of my face a few years ago.  The doctor put me on prednisone for 10 days, but 8th day, I realize I had no improvement.  I started acupuncture right away.  After 4 treatments, 95% recovery.  The Prednisone gave me yeast infection on my tongue.  I wish I had started acupuncture right away.

The needles not only were applied to my face, but also hands, legs.  It is the same meridian nerve line that affects the face.  I believe in acupuncture!
