Dizziness when exercising?

Another post about running made me think about this.  If I exercise reasonably hard (running, walking fast with the dog, etc), at the end of it, my head is, how can I describe it?, not lightheaded per se, but almost heavyheaded.  It's almost the feeling you get when you stand on your head (not that I can do that, of course  ;)), but it doesn't go away throughout exercising.  It takes a few minutes after I'm done.  I've been tested for lung functioning, and I'm just fine.  But it really bugs me to feel like that every time I try to work out.

I haven't been working out much lately, but it was happening even when I was working out regularly, so I know it isn't from lack of exercise.

Any one else get this, or any ideas of what this could be?

Hi Amberjolie:

I get this too.  Usually after any significant exercise, I wiil have to fall to the floor and wait until the feeling subsides, which makes me feel like I'm going to collapse if I don't, which may take several minutes to recover from.  I haven't got any idea what causes this either, wish I did.  All I can do is commiserate with you and wonder what the heck is causing this?

Yes, I get this sometimes too.  I try to stick it out or take a few minutes to slow down and get close to the floor.  I'm also a big fainter so I've learned the hard way to get my heart and head at the same level for a bit and even then sometimes I still pass out.  It has been worse since I started Plaquenil, actually......
