I have never had a problem with getting a doctor to test for anything that I requested, it's not not their money, the only time it becomes more difficult is when the test is very expensive (like MRI expensive) and the insurance company puts on the breaks, but if you are willing to pay for something, anything is possible in the land where cash is king.
