Called Rheumy-Went to doctor.*Again*

Hi everyone,

After being on Prednisolone of 10mg for two weeks now, I decided to call my Rheumy.As I see no improvements and the muscle pain and joint pains/swellings are just awful.She was a little shocked because it usually only takes a week to kick in.
Of course I need to be 'special' again... and it may take longer for me to kick in.I pray it will soon(if at all).I haven't been able to sleep, which doesn't make the pain any easier.And I'm loving the moodchanges...!

After having a little cold for a week now aswell, I went back to my doctor and seems like my nose is horribly stuffed up.But not that worse for antibiotiocs gladly.He gave me some pills and a spray, hopefully will take care of it within a week-two weeks.
My bloodpressure as a little on the low side, but I think Pred can cause this?Makes me feel a little dizzy at times.

Just the pain is driving me nutty, I must be getting old already (lol)

I'm sorry it's taking so long for the meds to kick in. You did the right thing calling your doc. Don't wait to call again if your pain doesn't go away. Hang in there.
