Alana

Hello!  I am a 39 year old who has been diagnosed with SJS since 1996.  I have lived in this world of Sjogren's all alone since that time.  Although I have a loving husband and family, no one could or can truly understand how I have been feeling.  I do not know any others in my area with this condition and I admit I haven't really reached out.  I guess I figured if I don't talk about it it's not that bad.  I am glad I found this site.  I am looking forward to taking this "journey" with you all!!!!

Be well~~

Hi Alana,

I'm 33 and also a newbie here.  I'm also feeling quite scared and alone these days.  Although I have many caring family and friends, they don't understand what kinds of things I'm going through.  I'm glad that there is a place like this for us to share.  Its comforting to know that there are others who understand.

Alana and Jodie77 Good luck to you.  I can't imagine battling since 1996.  I'm going nuts after 2 months! :o
