Hi all
Well I called the "Disability Group" and they have taken on my case. I have rec'd many packets from SS and sent them back. Tihe forms are so confusing to me with this brain fog.
They are moving my case along quickly acording to my case manager.

They are having me go for a psych eval. since I only go to a therapist and not a psych dr.
this is making me more stressed. Has anyone else had to do this with their disability claim?

Do I need to know anything else about applying?
Disability Group is helping me with all the info.
thanks harlin

Any time you make mention of cognitive function, emotional/anxiety issues, etc. In a legal claim, you can guarantee yourself a referral to a psych.

I've not had a neuropsych eval done personally, but the law firm where I worked frequently had head trauma patients referred for evals in order to "prove" their limitations/damages.

There are days that I am really bothered by memory issues and others when I seem like my "old" self.  It'd be my luck that I'd see the psych on a "good" day and he'd find absolutely nothing "wrong" with me other than being a blonde with a demanding career and a husband who likes to be babied :)

Try not to place too much emphasis on the psych thing.
