Hello,

Do any of you ladies sometimes use self tan bronzing lotion? I do not want to provoke my neuropathy, so I would like to hear your opinion on that one.

Thank you!

Hi Beta:
I use Jergen's self-tanning lotion and have had no ill effects from it.  It's the gentle kind that slowly just gives you a little color over 2-3 days use.  You can then reapply about every 3 days after to maintain the color.  I have super sensitive, fair skin and I even use it on my face.  It comes in Fair, Medium and Dark.  It's inexpensive as well, especially with a coupon from the Sunday paper.  I have also used the Loreal brand but it runs around $10, which is $2-3 higher than the Jergen's.

Hi Beta,

I've used Boots own brand Soltan in a pump mousse.  It is a one off that you repeat weekly or ten days according to how it fades.  My only problem is that my skins varies a lot in dryness and i do have to moisturize really well so that the tan doesn't take stronger in the dry areas and end up patchy.

I used to use Johnson's moisturizer with tanning cream in it but I did find that it became patchy after a while (you use it daily as normal).

Hope you find something that works.

Hi Beta,

I've used the stuff, and like Beverley, my skin varies so in the dryness.  My skin was often streaked and certain areas were noticeably darker than other, ugh, just refer to me as snow white! ;) :D  She is also right about making sure that your very dry areas are better hydrated than the other areas and all, but I just don't have that kind of time these days.

Thank you all ladies for your replies! :) I just want to cover few capillaries and veins on my legs so I have to use it all over! :)

What about leg make up?  I've never used it but I too have capilliaries and veins and I bruise very easily and I have thought about using it.  Not sure who makes it, but I know it exists.

I use the loreal sublime bronze (only sometimes) I moisturise with my "medical cream" then put on this gel.  It doesn't irritate too much, but can be a little patchy in some areas.

I bruise very easily and this makes my legs and arms look better.  I can also use this on my face, so I get a healthy glow to my face without using makeup day to day.
