Hi All,

Just looking for suggestions on what software (preferably free online) you all use for storing, editing, and emailing your digital photos.

I know some people at work use Picasa and really like it...anyone use that here? if so how do you like it?

Any other good software programs out there are decent and user friendly?

Bucky

Lynn,

Here are some suggestions from my hubby:

http://www.faststone.org         This is the home page - that gives information, description, etc.  Faststone is simple to use and has a lot more options than picasa does.  Hubby uses this one the most.

http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDownload.htm   This will take you direct to the download page - the above address will take you to the download too.

http://www.faststone.org/FSIVTutorial.htm        This is a downloadable PDF tutorial for Faststone.

http://picasa.google.com       Hubby says this is simple and easy to use.

Thanks for the reply Bucky and hubby...I'm looking into this because I have a ton of digital photos that are not as organized as I would like them to be in files on my computer and backed up on another hard drive....and I want to be able to edit and email them easily as I often send them to others.

I sent AD a note too for her "techy opinion".....lol!
