I have to be picky about the style now that I have gained weight and weight that seem to shift. I insist that they be stretch no matter what, though.

Harlin, I do miss being size 3/4, shoot then I didn't bother to try on ANYTHING, when I saw it and liked it I bought it KNOWING it would fit, NOW? For get about it!!! My size changes too often, seems to go between sizes 6, 8 and even some 10s, I NEVER know what size to pick without trying them on THAT SUCKS! Too time comsuming! I want to go back to atleast a solid 5/6!

I really hate jeans that are so stiff and tight around the waist..I hate being squeezed ..lol  So my favorite pair of pants is from the Old Navy store..reasonably priced, soft, and I can get a pair that does not flare at the bottom of the legs.  Mary

I have decided that I'm glad I am not a model.   ::)  Yesterday afternoon I tried on all those jeans and capri's I had bought on the 17th - and "modeled" them for my hubby and son to get their opinions on what they thought looked the best, and which ones I needed to return to the store.  Wow, they're rough critics!!   ::)  No wonder I prefer to clothes shop by myself!!  LOL

Put them on, take them off, put them on, take them off, put them on, take them off . . . . ugh!!  Then throw in a few shirt changes too and one is ready for a nap!!   :D

After all is said and done, there are three jeans (which only should be two, but I couldn't narrow it down . . . and . . . since they fit . . . . and I searched high and low for them . . . . . and Mother's Day is coming up . . . . or my birthday in July . . . . ) - I'm keeping all three!!   ;D  Same thing with the capri's.  I have looked high and low and finally found some - so, I'm keeping both of them.  I live in capri's all summer so I will definitely get my monies worth out of them.

I am returning two pairs of jeans and hoping to have a garage sale in April to help offset the purchase of the jeans and capri's I am keeping.

That's one thing my husband doesn't have to worry about - I am not a shopper.  I usually only buy something when I NEED it.  I wash and wear, wash and wear my clothes out.

Yep, modeling isn't everything it's cracked up to be.  Unless you consider people are bringing the clothes TO you, fixing your hair and your makeup.  You still have to try the stuff on!!  Ugh!!   ::)   ;D

One time my niece and I went to one of those "Glamour Shots" studios at the mall (she wanted to do it, so she paid for me to go with her  ;D) - wow . . .  :o  by the time they got done glamorizing me up with hairdo and makeup and then you pick out the clothes and jewelry to wear for the photoshoot . . .  :o   When we left there, I felt like I needed a spatula to scrape off the makeup . . it was soooo thick.  My niece and I just laughed.  It was fun, but I wouldn't do it again.  Although, I did love the look on my husbands face when he opened up a framed picture of me from this photoshoot with my off the shoulder fur wrap, long black gloves and pearl necklace . . . . . priceless!   ;D

Bucky, your photoshoot sounds so glamarous and it made me realize that I can't remember the last time I felt glamarous.  I think I'm too old, too fat and too grey to be anything but grannylike, even though I'm not a granny.  How sad is that - at least if I was a granny I would be fit for purpose!!

Wash your mouth out girl - don't you realize some of us are glamorous grannies ;D (I wish, sat here in my very unglamorous jogging pants, around my swelly tummy, but I can dream, can't I?)

Bucky, enjoy your jeans. Comfortable jeans make all the difference, don't they?
