I never sleep well the night before going back to school (stage fright or something similar) so tonight I am trying Valerian Plus tea which promised a good night's sleep.  I will let you know if it works ...

Mind you, I almost didn't get to keep my tea!  My 2 cats literally sniffed out the box before I had unpacked my shopping.  They were rubbing their noses against the box and managed to get it out on to the floor where they took it in turns to wrestle with it, lick it and roll around in ecstasy.  Hope it doesn't do the same to me, I haven't got time to be rolling around all night!!  XX Ailsa

Have a good night with prince Valium. Valium was derived from Valerian root. I only use it when I have been up too long because I will feel hung over in the morning.

Well ... I wouldn't drink it purely for the taste, but I did feel very relaxed at bedtime.  I woke several times and went straight back to sleep, which is very unusual for me.  Usually I wake then I am instantly wide awake and unable to get back to sleep.  And, Betty, the cat who cannot settle in or out for more than 30 mins slept the whole night on Susie's bed and didn't get up till I woke them both!

Thanks for the info Joe - I didn't know about the valium link but it makes sense now!
