Hi,

I thought I would pass along a quick, easy, lasting keepsake you or your children/grandchildren could make.  Take a canning lid (the flat lids you use when canning), use a hole punch and punch a hole towards the top.  Then attach a picture - school picture, picture you've taken, something the kids have drawn (would have to be small) and glue it to the lid.  I used tacky glue and spread it all over the top of the picture and lid.  It will dry clear.  When it's dry, date the back of the lid and label who it is, add a pretty ribbon and walla, you have a homemade keepsake or gift tag.   ;D

This would be a nice gift if it was a picture of Grandpa & Grandma, a favorite Aunt, Uncle, cousin, friend, etc.  This would be a fun "family tree" to do this for everyone in the family.

Don't forget to make an ornament of your pets pictures too!!  :)
