Hi  :)

You won't see me around for the next week - well till next weekend - because I'm going away with work. A colleague and I are taking eight 15 year olds away on a canal boat. Odd time of year to be doing it - but there we are! (We haven't broken it to them that there will be nowhere to recharge their cell phones and nowhere to plug their music into. There are electric lights and a fridge - but no spare sockets.)

Wish me luck!!

Bucky - I haven't had 10 minutes outside every day but this week I'll be spending a load of time outside walking beside the canal and grappling with lock gates!!

Have a good week everyone.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Scottie,

Have a good time on your canal trip.  I'm sure it will keep you on your toes!!

Pack all your "supplies" . . . pills, hat, sunglasses, lotion, etc.

Enjoy and we'll be anxious to hear how it went.

Take care,
Bucky

Oooh Scottie - have a fantastic time!!  We took a barge for a week 2 years ago and I loved it.  It was so relaxed (apart from when we got stuck!) and I would love to to do it again.   Take some leather or gardening gloves as those lock mechanisms can be tough on the skin.

Hope it goes well and you all have a lovely week - I'm sure you will be ready for your own bed when you get back! XX Ailsa
