Newbie Intro

Hi everyone -

Just wanted to say thank you to you all for sharing all your stories, and all the great info on SS - it has been so helpful for me. I am in my mid-20s, and have been experiencing symptoms of SS (dry mouth & eyes, fatigue, etc.) for some time. I suspect they actually began years ago, but it was at the beginning of this year (after two bouts of bronchitis that never completely went away) that I really took notice, and since then my symptoms have gotten progressively worse. CRP/ESR were elevated, but bloodwork came back negative, and Schirmer's was borderline. Sigh. In limbo now, waiting to hear back about possibility of further tests and/or referrals to specialists...

Anyway, I'm so glad that this board is here - I look forward to connecting with you all.

Well I am sorry you are having so many problems, I know the wait to see a doctor is trying, but let's just trust that you will be one of the blessed ones and will get hooked up to a good one!

I'm so glad that you have already found this site helpful....its filled with a lot of information and knowledge by many interesting people from all over the world. And in the process...you will see that there is a lot of support and friendship to be found here as well!

Read all you can...jump on in when you feel comfortable doing so....and I hope you get some answers soon as limboland is not fun!
