Bernice, I feel the same way you do, there are days when I too want to shout Leave Me Alone, I don't feel good and have come pretty close to doing so.  Mostly I just get cranky.  I know my limitations, that if I don't get an afternoon nap it is downhill from there.

I think that it is absolutely outrageous that you were asked to take care of a 2 year old for a month.  Even for a healthy person this is too much to ask.  I'd never wish an illness like this on my worst enemy.  And until they actually have to live with it they will never truly understand our limitations.  They don't understand that at least in my case most of my days are spent exhausted and in pain.  Just because I don't talk about it doesn't mean that it isn't happening.

There are some folks who I don't even talk to about it anymore, such as co-workers.  Because I am fortunate to have a desk job, my illness is not very apparent.  Before the meds started working I had to go home sick a few times, but they still didn't get it.  One woman said, "Are you sure you're not just going through emnopause?  Hormones can do funny things, you know."  Another woman, when I was holding my head in my hands, said, "you're tired, huh?"    Even my mother said, "Since you used to run all those miles and stopped, maybe your muscles are just going through withdrawal."   TIRED?  MENOPAUSE?
Believe it or not, these are actual quotes.  So I just keep it bottled up until I come here....
