Thera Tears - Eye Drops- Shortage !?

Currently I cant fill my prescription for Thera Tears Eye Drops..Im being told that a shortage worldwide exists...anyone else having trouble ? were in Australia..

Hi K&C,

Wow, I see them all over the place here, but they are not the prescription variety though.  Is there another type of drop that your doctor can prescribe in the mean time?  Or an OTC type to get you through until the Thera Tears are available again?

I buy Thera Tears over-the-counter in the states with no problem finding them....

I'm in Ohio and they are over the counter.  I use Soothe XP, love em!!

Hi Australian, You're in luck, I trust. Just finished my box of preservative-free-THERA TEARS and threw the box in garbage today. Now have it in hand and I purchase OTC in States 32 sterile single-use plastic containers for around  $10 US dollars. Know you use different monetary 'something' as  I have for years ordered my flea protection from Australia. Know you should be able to go on line and find it. Whether you will get exact same as you get in your area. One I get, each container is Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose 0.25% . Seems like its just yet another Australian health Issue!..Ive emalied the producer already but zilch reply..

I can get them sent over from the states ..however I need lots..I use lots so the costs are high...I will have to use another drop..not as good..but will hopefully get us through...

All the distributors in Australia cant even give me a date when the next shipment will arrive....at least October one said..LOL
