IINFECTION'S

I DID A STUPID THING, I WALKED UP TO STORE (1/2 MILE) IN NEW GYM SHOES. THEY HURT MY FEET BUT I PLUGED DOWN THE STREET ANYWAY. TO AND FROM. I HAD BLISTER'S ON EVERY TOE NAIL ON THE BOTTOM. MY HEALS WERE A BLODDY MESS.
LOW AND BEHOLD THE NEXT DAY THEY WERE ALL INFECTED. I BIG MESS TO DEAL WITH. FUNNY THE NEXT DAY I HAD AN INFECTION IN MY RIGHT EYE. OK NOW I BELIEVE I MAY HAVE AN INFECTION IN MY KIDNEY'S. OH DOES THIS HURT. CAN A INFECTION IN MY FEET CAUSE IT TO TRAVEL TO OTHER AREAS OF MY BODY? I'M NOT VERY GOOD WITH INFECTIONS, THEY SEEM TO HANG AROUND FOR A LONG TIME.
JUST WANT TO KNOW IF THIS IS COMMON WITH SJ? I JUST FEEL AWFUL NOW. ANY HELP WITH ALL YOU OUT THERE?

I don't know if you are on any immunosupressants or not, like Prednisone, but I know that they can make people more prone to infection. Plaquenil doesn't.

Some Sjoggies do seem to take longer to get over things than others. I'm not a medic, so I could be wrong but I think the toe/kidney thing is probably an unfortunate coincidence. If you'd touched your toes and then inadvertantly touched your eye - or near your eye, that could possible be related.
