I am newly diagnosed and plugs were suggested on my first eye doc appt.  I said yes to give it a try and I am glad I did.  It has made a positive difference for me.. I still need Restasis and tears in between.  My eyes itched a bit once they went in, but very tolerable considering all my other "concerns"....

Hope that helps!
Yodeb,
Thanks for your reply.
Restasis unfortunately is not available yet available in the UK, well so my GP tells me.
If things don't improve, think I'll try the plugs.

Hi

I think in the UK Restasis is called cyclosporine and is available but would have to be prescribed - probably by an opthamologist.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Scottie,
Thanks for that. I shall ask my Opthamologist when I have my next appointment. Whenever that may be. It's like waiting for a bus ;D You never know which one will turn up or how long you will have to wait ???
