Its been a while, blood results so far/updated

Well i had an appt with a new doc, just a family doc, but she is wonderful, listened and didnt pawn me off like the rheumy.. She repeated all my labs, and included not only the ANA titer but the screen i think that checks more than just negative and positive.. ESR CRP, RF, Vit D, Vit B12, CBC complete chem panel, UA, ...

i called today, just one day after but i was interested.. my ESR had been running around 23-25, so a little elevated, now its jumped to 43.. WOW obviously something is going on, and at least when i say i feel awful, they now have one test that shows that!!

She also ran an EBV, i didnt ask about the anti SSA, SSB and others yet, but she was off to deliver a baby..

Just wanted to update and get any imput, will put the other values here when i get them..

I'm sure glad to hear that you feel so comfortable with this doctor and that she is running all of the right tests on you to hopefully get you some answers!

I hope you find this site helpful! Please keep us posted on what you find out from the rest of your labs when you get the results.

Btw..I always ask for a copy of my labs or any test that I have done...it helps if I should need it for another doctor or for more information when other tests may ordered by someone else. I just find keeping a copy of my medical records to be very helpful and my doctors who have used them have always been thankful to look at them for a review or history! It's also good because you can keep them to compare labs done over time!

I sure hope you get some good answers very soon.  We all look forward to hearing what the doc says.  If she wants to refer you to a rheumy, don't go back to the bad one!

well the EBV titers are elevated, not for new disease, but possibly chronic illness.. another relating test as far as i can see on the web.. Have had a bad few days, cannot use my right shoulder well, and my left "tennis elbow" is flaring as well..

well got some more blood work back, and my CRP is slightly elevated normal is 0-10, mine was 11.6, antids was neg, anti ssa, ssb neg, rf was <20, anti sm neg, anti mp neg, vit D 30,

and again my ESR was 43..

And this was the worst 3 days i have had EVER so much pain, i couldnt function..

So now i am wondering, i really am concerned, oh and yea the EBV shows old infection..

So could you all help? im so glad i feel better today, i was in tears the last few days, even considered how i would care for my children at home..
