hey!  over the last few days i have noticed new symptoms that i've never had before.  i'm about a month into my plaquenil and wellbutrin meds, which seemed to be working great---had more energy than i've had in a long time.  however this week i've had a constant dull headache, dizziness, a spaced out feeling, every now and again my chest feels like someone is pressing on it, and then i get an ache on the left side of my chest, then today i started having really itchy arms....i feel like i'm losing it big time!!!  i can't imagine these are from the prescriptions since i've been taking them for a while without any problems.  i can't seem to figure out what is going on, and i'm curious if anyone else has had these symptoms.  i should mention that i've been diagnosed with both sjogren's and fibromyalgia.....anyone out there that can reassure me i'm not losing my mind i would love to hear from you!!!

Hi.  I was diagnosed in December and have been on Plaquenil since.  I have had a horrible time with episodes of weakness and light headedness.  A couple times I was actually dizzy.  At first I thought it might be the Plaq, but even after stopping it for one week I still had the light headedness.  I have also been on Wellbutrin for years.  I just had a normal brain MRI and bloodwork, so the rheumy feels it is just the Sjs.  Sorry, but I can't help you with the other symptoms.  Good luck...

Klb, Concerned for you.  Not a Doc and not in the medical field but with the chest pain and dizziness I would definitely see a DOC ASAP and rule out any heart problems.  Roxanne

Hi KLB  :)

I think to see a doc is a good idea. Headaches and dizziness can be caused by high blood pressure - and of course, by other things too. I'm not medical in any way, shape or form - so please seek medical advice about this.

Take care - Scottie  :)
