1300 Members today

WOW, WOW, WOW . . . . . today we hit the 1300 member mark here at Sjogren's World!  They say there are 4 million people who have Sjogren's - I bet if the truth be known, the numbers are higher than that! 

Lately, it seems we have a new member almost daily.  I'm sorry we all are coming together to meet because of this disease - however, it's nice to know that there are others out there like us.  We come from all walks of life, a wide range of ages, some brand new with the disease, some who have had it for decades, some who are still being tested.  It doesn't matter where we are in our journey . . . we are all in this together.  Having this forum available unites us in our journey of understanding what is going on with our bodies, some of the treatments available to us, things to ask our doctors, giving or receiving encouragement and sometimes a shoulder to cry on or a hug.  We share in successful doctor visits, surgery, births, deaths, weather problems . . . a wide variety of topics.

Thank you Care and Spring for this site and to all the Staff and members who come to share a part of their lives with us.

Wow is right Bucky! Now it is 1301...... ! It is amazing to me how much Sjogrens World has grown just in the past few years!

As you said...its unfortunate that we all had to meet like this....but is very nice to have others to talk to and learn from, have a good laugh or cry with and just know that we all understand each other and don't have to be afraid to share how we feel! This is a wonderful place that we can all come to...at least I think so!

WAHOO!  It's so great!  I remember joining when there were "only" 350 or so...amazing is right!  And let's not forget that we have one of the friendliest boards out there too with lots of thanks to all the great members!!!!
