;D Hello, I hope everyone had a great holiday.  Mine was good, although I was sick with a nasty cough and cold.

I am happy to report that the cellcept is bringing my titers down the past month in preparation for transplant.

My ANA Titer was 1:1280 and now is 1:320
My RA Factor was over 2200 and now is 225
My Anti-SSB and Anti-SSA are still both over 500.  Not sure what they were previously.
My creatine did go from 3.1 to 3.5
GFR went from 17% to 16%

Of course the last two numbers are worse than previously....still borderline dialysis.  My procrit injections have increased back to once a week because my hemoglobin was 10.0 and hemacrit was around 28.  I was dragging butt, but now I am starting to feel better.
The Docs at MUSC are testing the 11 names I gave them as possible donors for me. Fingers are crossed!  They want to try to do this in the Spring and sound confident that it will happen.

Take Care!
Vicky

Looking good Vicky...
Things are definitely headed in the right direction with the CellCept.  That is great news.  Do you mean they are trying to do the 'transplant' in the Spring ?  Vicky, how long has it been from your kidney symptoms to now ? Hope all is well with you today...

Vicky, I am so glad that the cellcept is working and that things are progressing. Will pray that there is a match for you so that you can get this over with and get on with your life. Irish ;D

Seabreeze-Yes they are trying to get everything in order for a spring transplant, BUT it all depends if I have a live donor that matches.  As far as how long I had kidney issues....maybe 5 years now.  We didn't know about any of this prior to my 1st pregnancy.  It was after I had my 1st child 4 years ago that something weird was happening to my system.  The Docs said that it probably has been around and the pregnancy just made it finally show up in blood tests.  I had acute renal failure after my first pregnancy.  My creatine went to 1.2 (high side of normal) and stayed there for almost a year until my last pregnancy which was over 2 years ago.  Since that pregnancy my kidneys never rebounded and have been going downhill ever since.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers!

Vicky
