Reading and searching for more infomation usually I find something new of use. This time on the U.K. site was a suggestion to polish teeth off with a cotton ball because dried saliva can cause "fur" coats.  I've been using tissues, they seem to work as well.  Just rinse mouth well to restore fluids.

Have had this type of growing film for quite awhile, brushing, flossing, rinsing doesn't remove it. Didn't realize the coating was caused by dry mouth.  A blast of brushing with baking soda and salt works also but is way too harsh for gums, tongue etc.

Have found this extra step does a lot of good, all teeth surfaces feel cleaner and  smooth again.

Anyone else with a good suggestion?

Hi  :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I KNOW I can't use abrasive cleaners on my teeth because that's what messed them up in the first place. Trying to get them whiter I used a tooth powder and literally brushed enamel off them when I was about 14. All my teeth have been filled ever since.

Take care - Scottie  :)
