Sip for Sjogren's

I'm going to a sip for sjogren's event today in Charlotte nc. Anyone ever been to one of these?

It's a fundraiser for Sjogren's research.  I read about it on the Sjogren's Foundation website.  There have been several over the past few years, usually in large cities.

That sounds interesting.  Here I thought at a certain time of day we were all suppose to raise our beverage of choice to one another.     We should do that!!

They had tables set up with different water from around the world. I like plain ole "still water". I think my favorite is Fiji. But the main thing is the networking.

The CEO for the sjogren's sydnrome foundation came down from maryland to attend and it's a great way to network with others in your area that have Sjogren's.

A news anchor from charlotte, nc was there as well and did some talking. I think someone had a connection to get him in there... I live in SC and didn't recognize him but he was sure being followed around with a camera. LOL.
