Pooh

Just wanted to thank all of you that sent good thoughts and prayers up for my granddaughter's hubby Jason when he was deployed to Iraq.

He was suppose to land in the USA on the 10th but didn't arrive until the 17th.  Never the less the whole family is over joyed that he is home safe and sound.  His unit lost 11 men while he was over there and it bothers him and his buddies so very much.  He will be home for a while now, but sometime in the near future he will be re-deployed again.  Whether to Iraq or Afghanistan we don't know.

Thank you so much for the prayers and thoughts not only for our Jason, but all our men and women serving their country with such valor and courage.  Thank you.

A very proud grandmother-in-law Pooh

Pooh, Oh, I am so glad that the prayers were answered and he got home safely. Now I will pray that he and his family can re-unite and get back in the groove. So much has happened to him over there that I am sure he will need time to settle in. Was he home in time to help with the barn? If he was that was good medicine for him. Thanks for letting us know. Irish ;D

Pooh,
I am so thankful for your Jason and many many young men like him, who new nothing of war, but stepped into the gap so honorable in the defense and protection of our nation. My nephew, Michael also returned home from Afghanistan a few weeks ago, unharmed 82 airborn troop all home safely after 18 months tour of duty.
I am sorry he lost some of his fellow soldiers, for their families I will pray. And also for his coming home and adjustments.

Hi Pooh

Oh what a happy day!  It is so good that he is back!!!  Please give him a hug for me and tell him THANK YOU from one of their supporters!

I volunteer in our town packing boxes for the troops that we have addresses for.  I also try to get as many people as I can to write a letter or note to them letting them know that we care.  Its the least I can do for them while they are helping to keep our Country and World a safe place.

Hi Pooh

I'm really pleased that Jason is back in the fold. You must all be so relieved,  Let's hope for a miracle and that he doesn't have to be deployed again.

Thank you everyone.

No, Irish he wasn't home in time, but it would have been a little difficult for him anyway.  He's stationed in Washington State and we're in Pennsylvania. ;D

Right now he is just laying back and enjoying his wife and son.  The little one has been watching the door for over a month now, ever since they heard he was coming home.

I can't imagine how my granddaughter coped with his questions and distress when his Dad was a week overdue.  But all is well now and we are all praying that he doesn't have to return.  More than that, we are praying that those still there come home and this whole mess will be over with.

Hugs, Pooh

Hi Pooh!

Thanks for letting us know that he is home safe and sound. I'm so happy that he can join his family again and enjoy being back in this country that he went far away to defend.

Many prayers continue to go out to all of those still over there and for those families who didn't get their family members back. My heart goes out to them!

My 21 year old nephew who graduated boot camp in December and became a Marine is waiting for his orders to deploy. It has changed once and now it is up in the air again. I pray that they keep putting it off and this whole thing ends and we bring all of our men and women home!

Pooh I am so happy for your family!  I will keep all of you in my prayers that Jason is home to stay.  Like you I pray for all our troops that they will be brought home soon.  Give your returning soldier a lot of TLC  - there are just some memories you want to forget.  Lots of family love will help him.  Take care !
